The aim of the roundtable was to draw public attention to the problem of violence, and violence in the family in particular, as well as cruel treatment of children. The other aim of the action was to learn the reasons for violence in the region, and to find ways of decreasing the level of violence. Representatives of NGOs, governmental officials, educational institutions and public health took part in the action.
