Orientation on Demonstration
Contributed by: Munksaruul Jargal, Mongolia National VAW Monitor The Baganuur District branch of NCAV collaborated with trainers from secondary school and ran a training for 600 pupils on 1 December 2005. It held a demonstration “For the family well” and “The child is ground of family” against violence against women and girls 3 December 2005. There were participants, including about 450 pupils, 17 teachers from the secondary school, 30 representatives of parents and representatives from local government. Members of Club against Violence
the Mongolian Youth’s Federation, and Pupils’ selfleading organizations jointly organized the activity. The “Club against violence” was established through secondary schools during the discussion on 7 December 2005. The club was initiated by 10th grade pupil T.Chinzorig from the 5th secondary school. The club goal is for support and help friend who affected violence. The Governor of Chingeltei District is going to support the club and collaborate with pupils
