A Shelter for women-victims of domestic violence

On the 1st of May 2006, the Women’s Rights Center (WRC) re-opened its Shelter for women, victims of domestic violence and their children in Armenia. The last time the WRC had such Shelter two years ago, in 2002-2004, with support of the USAID.

The Shelter meets all international standards and now the WRC has a full set of services for women-victims of domestic violence, including 24 hour National Hot line and Women’s Support and Drop-in Center.
