About 25,000 country residents were informed by the Youth Initiative Group (YIG) about trafficking in 2005. YIG was created last year as a result of the First Youth Congress on Human Rights: Youth against Trafficking, the main objective being mobilization of youth to prevent trafficking. Representatives of this organization work in all regions of the country. In 2005, YIG organized an extensive information campaign on trafficking, as well as three separate actions, prepared 120 volunteers and opened two information centers.
