Bulgaria and Finland will cooperate in the combat against organized crime, this is envisaged in the approved by the cabinet draft agreement between the two countries. The joint efforts will be in the combat against terrorism and organized crime; illegal production, storage, import, export, as well as trade with drugs and precursors; corruption; illegal migration and trafficking in human beings; illegal production, trade and smuggling of weapons and explosives.
The document regulates in detail the order and procedures for the protection of personal information shared between the two countries. The exchange of classified information will be regulated by another agreement.
The agreement is to be signed for an unspecified period of time.
