For the fist time in Montenegro, the Campaign 16 Days of Activism Against Violence Against Women has been conducted in an organized way and led by a majority of women's NGOs.

Also, the UNDP office in Montenegro and the governmental Gender Office have invited all women's NGOs to collaborate and cooperate in order to implement this important campaign all together. At their common meetings, NGOs decided to lead one organized campaign with a common motto and to harmonize their activities.

The motto for 16 days of activism campaign in 2006 was:

Visible in Constitution,

Protected in Laws,

Repected in institutions,

Equal in family,

Free at streets.
