Action Plan on Combating Trafficking in Persons Approved
During a briefing that took place in the RA Government, Armen Bayburdyan, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, reported that the new NAP is designed to be the continuation of the previous Action Plan of 2004-2006. It is aimed at the prevention of trafficking and protection of victims. The RA Government charged the Interdepartmental Commission, which was created in 2002, to report every 6 months about activities which have been implemented.
