An educational program on gender equality for civil servants started in April 2007. The trainings are organised within the regional project “Gender Equality” aimed at the creation of a certain number of professionals in the Government of Montenegro who work in the areas of education, justice, human rights, health and social care. These trainings will advance their knowledge on gender equality issues and contribute to the successful implementation of undertaken obligations under international documents ratified by the state.

Five trainings have been held by now, organized by the Gender Equality Office of the Government of Montenegro and UNDP Montenegro, with logistical support by SOS Hotline Podgorica.
