On 7 January 2006, Ferid Kuc (40) killed his minor daughter A.K. (14). The crime happened in their family house in Podgorica (capital of Montenegro) in the middle of the night, around 5am. According to unofficial information published in media, Ferid Kuc hit his daughter, while she was sleeping, several times in the head with a metal barbell, which caused mortal wounds. Police came to the scene of the crime very fast and arrested the violator. As published in the daily newspapers, the suspect told police he was suspicious that his daughter was seeing some boy, and he did not want her to “wander around.”
