The social movement against domestic violence in Mongolia was established when National Center Against Violence founded in 1995. The social tendency against violence and intolerance of violence expanded more year by year. The participants of the Forum stated that more people and organizations were supporting the movement against violence and eliminate the violence.
The Mongolian State became part of the movement when it adopted the Law against domestic violence and began implementation. The Forum participants strongly valued that the State has a formal obligation before its citizens, according to the law against domestic violence. It is strengthening the movement.
The appeal was developed from the Forum, including an appeal to society to strongly unify against violence for the Mongolian State, civil society organizations and people.
