Continuing Impunity for Partner Aggression against Pregnant Women

A man from Bulgaria's town of Sliven beat up his pregnant girlfriend and ran away immediately after the incident. The 18-year-old girl from the village of Sotiriya has been hospitalized in critical condition. Later, she miscarried. The police are investigating the case and are still searching for the attacker.
