• Concluding observations of the Committee (French) (Spanish)
• The Committee welcomed the participation of women in higher education. However, the Committee stressed the need for objective data to better assess the situation of women in health care, professional opportunities for women and income disparities between genders. The Committee noted that there was inadequate health care for women during pregnancy and childbirth and recommended that the Azerbaijani government ensure adequate medical care for pregnant women. The Committee also requested detailed information on measures taken for women victims of violence in the next report.
