National Center Against Violence Organizes a Training 2/8/2006 2:45 PM | | Prosecutors' training on "Sexual Violence and Human Rights" |

The NCAV organized a four-day training on “Sexual violence and human rights” for 25 investigators, 25 prosecutors and 10 advocates jointly with the Office of General Investigation and the Office of the General Prosecutor. The training is to specialize law enforcement officers to solve the crimes of child sexual abuse on the legal level.
The open discussion “Inter linkages between violence against women and HIV/AIDS” was held with support from Open Forum, Network on Reproductive and  | | Open discussion: "Interlinkages between violence against women and HIV/AIDS” | Health, Mongolian Women NGOs network, ECPAT Network Mongolia, Mongolian Women’s Leadership Foundation and National Aids Foundation during International AIDs Day 1st of December 2005. The UN Special Rapportuer stated that violence against women is the cause of increasing HIV/AIDS in her 2005 report and called on countries to pay attention to the above issue. There were about 40 particiapnts from State and civil society organizations, and they discussed how to collaborate on this issue in the future. During the open discussion, the working committee was established.
