The Gender Equality Office of the Government of Montenegro, financially supported by Foundation Open Society Institute – Montenegro, issued the publication “He/She said” on the need for usage of non-sexist language.

The publication is the result of the roundtable held in February 2006, when experts from the linguistic field spoke about the need for using gender-sensitive language. The publication contains introductory notes from experts in this field, works of experts from the non-governmental sector and conclusions from the conference.

This work may encourage people to start using gender-sensitive language, and in this regard, to take into consideration the status and position of women in society.
