Reporting Schedule

Kazakhstan is required to submit periodic reports detailing its compliance with and implementation of the following international conventions:

Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination against Women

The Second Periodic Report was due on 25 September 2003 and is overdue.

International Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Racial Discrimination

Convention on the Rights of the Child

The Second and Third Periodic Reports are due on 10 September 2006.

Optional Protocol to the Convention on the Rights of the Child on the involvement of children in armed conflict
The First Periodic Report is due on 10 May 2005.

Optional Protocol to the Convention on the Rights of the Child on the sale of children, child prostitution and child pornography
The First Periodic Report was due on 18 January 2004 and is overdue.

Convention against Torture and Other Cruel, Inhuman or Degrading Treatment or Punishment
The Second Periodic Report was due on 24 September 2003 and is overdue.
