ANIMA – Center for women’s and peaceful education organized the workshop "Non-violence is to be learnt and to be dedicated" on the occassion of Intenational Peace Day. The aim of the workshop was to make a contribution to peace, reminding people that in 124 countries in the world, conflict exists and that it is still easier for governments to contribute to making wars than to increase the responsibility of people for peace and non-violence.

The UN Comesariat promoted the 21st of September in 2001 as a Day for Peace with the intention to make all people of the world spend it peacefully and non-violently, to put weapons down, and to respect the dedication towards peace.
