The campaign began in winter 2005/2006 and culminated in March 2006, on the day of the Sarajevo (and BH) premiere of Jasmila Zbanic’s film "Grbavica", 1 March 2006 (After the "Golden Bear" award at Berlin Film Festival in February this year). Women activists organized the collection of signatures in front of movie theaters, in all cities where the movie was broadcast in local cinemas.

In less then 30 days, more then 50,000 signatures were collected,and the lists of signatures were filed and bound in five “books of supporting lists,” and presented to the Parliament of Federation BH.
