The National Center Against Violence is the first organisation in Mongolia that deals with violence against women and children particularly domestic violence.

The National Center Against Violence was first established as the initiative of the Liberal Women Brain Pool, Women’s Movement for Social Progress and the Women Lawyers’ Association of Mongolia on the 15th June 1995.

The NCAV is a non-governmental and public-serving organization that started pioneering work and activities that combated violence against women and domestic violence for the first time in Mongolia. Currently it has 11 local branch offices.

The NCAV will take on the responsibilities of the Natioanl VAW Monitor for Mongolia.  Munkhsaruul Mijiddorj, coordinator of the engagement of public participation program of NCAV will take on the leading role in managing the STOPVAW country page for Mongolia
