Slovakia Must Take Responsibility for Forced Sterilizations

The UN Committee on the Elimination of Discrimination against Women urges the Slovak government to take measures aimed at taking responsibility for forced sterilizations of Romani women and ensuring that the forcibly sterilized Romani women have access to effective legal remedy. The Slovak government has not yet provided for effective investigation of the complaints of sterilized Romani women. |
