Reporting Schedule

Romania is required to submit periodic reports detailing its compliance with and implementation of the following international conventions:

International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights
The Fifth Periodic Report was due on 28 April 1999 and is overdue.

International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights
The Third and Fourth Periodic Reports were due on 30 June 1994 and 30 June 1999 and are overdue. The Fifth Periodic Report is due on 30 June 2004.

International Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Racial Discrimination
The Sixteenth and Seventeenth Periodic Reports were due on 15 October 2001 and 15 October 2003. Both reports are overdue.

Convention on the Rights of the Child
The Third and Fourth Periodic Reports are due on 27 October 2007.

Convention against Torture and Other Cruel, Inhuman or Degrading Treatment or Punishment
The Second, Third and Fourth Periodic Reports were due on 16 January 1996, 16 January 2000 and 16 January 2004. All report are overdue.
