Two Hungarian NGOs (NANE Women’s Rights Association and Habeas Corpus Working Group) published a booklet about the results and experiences of their joint pilot project under EU Daphne II. The one-year project was based on providing an integrated client service for victims of domestic violence and gender-based violence. The service focused on a complex approach inasmuch that legal, psychological, and social needs of victims were all considered and taken care of. The booklet describes the cases of women who were involved, and gives an overall analysis of the treatment of this topic in Hungarian law and law-enforcement as well as policy recommendations.

Authors: Júlia Spronz (Habeas Corpus Working Group, Hungarian National Monitor) and Judit Wirth (NANE Women’s Rights Association)
