The Sexual Violence Prevention Network publishes a newsletter for people interested in sexual violence prevention or working in that field, and holds quarterly meetings in Minnesota.
The Toolkit to End Violence Against Women, created by the National Advisory Council on Violence Against Women and the United States Department of Justice's Violence Against Women Office, provides concrete anti-violence strategies for advocates, legal and medical professionals, members of the clergy, the media, and educational institutions.
VAWNet, the University of Minnesota's Violence Against Women Resources Online, the Minnesota Center Against Violence and Abuse's (MINCAVA) Electronic Clearinghouse, and the National Sexual Violence Resource Center are excellent gateways to articles, studies, brochures, manuals, fact sheets, research, and information packets on sexual assault.
The National Sexual Violence Resource Center has produced a guide to a wide variety of resources on sexual violence available in Spanish. End Violence Against Women, a site developed by the Information and Knowledge for Optimal Health (INFO) Project, provides news, information about upcoming events, and a searchable database of research on issues of violence against women. |
