The conference “Gender Problems in Armenia: Developments and Challenges” shall start its work on 20^th of May at Ani Hotel. Two major issues will be discussed at the conference:  first - the state gender policy, involvement of international and non-governmental organizations, implemented programs and the second – prevention and elimination of violence against women and domestic violence.

The conference is aimed at informing the interested parties about the situation and current programs as well as at identifying problems and clarifying further actions. 

Participants:  Ministry of Labor and Social Issues, representatives of the Council of Europe, OSCE, UNDP, USAID, relevant professionals as well as representatives of other state structures and non-governmental organizations.
