International Human Trafficking Conference to be held in Dushanbe, Tajikistan 7/10/2006 11:30 AMA three-day conference will be held this September in Dushanbe to discuss methods of combating trafficking in persons. The goal of the conference is to strengthen both civil society and government bodies in their fight against trafficking in persons as well as their support of trafficking victims. Conference participants will discuss and plan strategic approaches for combating trafficking, strengthen the ties between their groups, and discuss available resources in Tajikistan to prevent human trafficking.
