A furious man from the city of Pernik beat his former girlfriend with a hammer. The brutal flogging happened in a room of  the “Delta” hotel, it was announced yesterday by the police department in Bourgas.

The 33-year-old man broke down the door of her room while she was sleeping and hit her several times on the head and the stomach with the hammer. The woman was badly injured.

After her former boyfriend beat her, he forced her to get into his car. However, at some point the victim managed to open the door of the car and hid in the nearest shop. The man, however, did not give up, and followed her inside, trying to suffocate her. The staff called the police and helped the woman.

The man is arrested for 24 hours. The hammer was found in his car as well as 2 grams of cannabis. After a medical inspection, a forensic certificate was given to the woman. It is a miracle that she received only light bodily injuries. The reasons for the fight are in the process of investigation.
