Book 1 covers general information on sexual violence and strategies for sexual violence prevention. Book 2 discusses community, criminal justice and youth development tools that can be used in efforts to prevent sexual violence.

Minnesota Coalition for Sexual Assault's Training Manual discusses the history of legal responses to sexual violence, forms of sexual violence, victim coping mechanisms and reactions to the assault, considerations in reporting the assault, legal advocacy on behalf of sexual assault victims, civil remedies, and forensic medical examinations.

The Toolkit to End Violence Against Women, created by the National Advisory Council on Violence Against Women and the United States Department of Justice's Violence Against Women Office, provides concrete anti-violence strategies for advocates, legal and medical professionals, members of the clergy, the media, and educational institutions.

VAWNet, the University of Minnesota's Violence Against Women Resources Online, the Minnesota Center Against Violence and Abuse's (MINCAVA) [Electronic Clearinghouse, and the National Sexual Violence Resource Center are excellent gateways to articles, studies, brochures, manuals, fact sheets, research, and information packets on sexual assault. Connecticut Sexual Assault Crisis Services also provides a Library of Articles and Information.
