Panama’s Ministry of Health, with support from the Organización Panamericana de la Salud (Panamerican Organisation of Health) and with the financial support of the Agencia Española de Cooperación Internacional para el Desarrollo (Spanish Agency for International Cooperation for Development) has launched a virtual course aiming to train healthcare workers in providing confidential, ethical and high-quality care to survivors of violence against women, offering practical tools for effective responses. Since its launch in May, 26 people have already completed the course.
