The Daphne II Program of the European Union runs from May 2004 to December 31 2008 and has a budget of 50 million Euros. The program is designed to support organizations that develop measures to combat all types of violence against children, young people and women. Organizations from the 25 European Union member states are eligible to participate, as well as, organizations from EFTA/EEA countries and organizations from Bulgaria, Romania and Turkey.
