Council of Europe: "Parliaments United in Combating Domestic Violence Against Women"

The Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe will launch a pan-European campaign to combat domestic violence against women entitled: "Parliamentary United in Combating Domestic Violence Against Women." This will be part of the larger goal to end violence against women. The campaign hopes to condemn domestic violence as a human rights violation, create a debate to help fight domestic violence, and encourage national parliaments to become actively involved in preventing and remedying domestic violence.
