A new report from the Council of Europe (COE) examines best practices to reduce demand for trafficked labor. Researchers based in Poland reviewed anti-trafficking initiatives from around the world. They found the most successful programs involve coordination among multiple actors and agencies; have objectives other than ending trafficking; and incorporate the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights.
