Thirty-one teammates of Slovenia's women's national soccer team wrote an open letter in July to the president of the Slovenian football federation, demanding the dismissal of head coach Borut Jacr and detailing allegations of bullying, sexism, body-shaming and inappropriate behavior. The coach has subsequently resigned, but the federation has denied the allegations, although it indicates it is investigating. These developments follow in the wake of the scandal roiling the Spanish soccer world since the kissing of a womans' team member without her consent at the conclusion of this summer's Women's World Cup.
