The Advocates Presents on Domestic Violence Best Practices in Astana, Kazakhstan

At the request of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE), Women's Program Director, Rosalyn Park, presented on best practices for international legal reforms in the field of domestic violence. As part of the conference, "Prevention of Domestic Violence through Efficient Cooperation: The New Development Stage of Crisis Centers," OSCE invited The Advocates to share its expertise on domestic violence. The conference, also co-hosted by UN Women, UNFPA, UNDP, the Union of Crisis Centters of Kazakhstan LEA, and the National Commission for Women, Family and Demographic Policy. took place in Astana, Kazakhstan on December 6-7, 2018. The conference sought to build an effective multi-sectoral response to violence against women, develop common approaches to providing high-quality services to victims and survivors, and search for strategies to enhance responses.
