The Autonomous Women's Center in Belgrade, working within the Council of Europe Campaign to Combat Violence against Women, recently organized a conference entitled "An Austrian model of intervention in cases of domestic violence". The conference brought together governmental leaders and advocates to promote the idea that the Austrian Law on Domestic Violence and Intervention Model, with its innovative solutions in establishing a system of protection for domestic violence victims, ought to be fully implemented in Serbia.
