In Virginia, after serving only six months of his eighteen month sentence for sexual assault, William Beebe is up for parole on the condition of five hundred hours of community service. Prosecutors charged Beebe after he sent a letter of apology to the victim twenty-one years after the assault. Virginia does not have a statute of limitations for sexual assault. Beebe plead guilty and received a reduced sentence from the original ten year sentence.
