UNICEF Publishes Strategy Aimed at Ending FGM 10/5/2007 5:27 PMUNICEF’s recently published strategy on female genital mutilation, “Technical Note – Coordinated Strategy to Abandon Female Genital Mutilation/Cutting in One Generation” presents a human rights based approach to eradicating FGM/cutting. The note is focused on the social dynamics at the community level. It is meant to offer an innovative approach designed to bring about a lasting change.
