The Association of Female Lawyers of Liberia warned that one in five youth uses illicit drugs, with more than 800 drug dens in Monrovia. The synthetic drug, kush, was flagged as especially deadly. Activists accused President Joseph Boakai of failing to deliver on promises, saying the crisis is impacting the future of society, most notably the youth population.
