A recently-launched website entitled Optional Protocol to CEDAW was designed to provide a central hub of information regarding the Optional Protocol to the Convention on the Elimination of all forms of Discrimination Against Women (CEDAW). The CEDAW Committee’s decisions and inquiry findings are summarized, and links to original submissions, amicus briefs, and case comments are provided. Information is listed by country, subject matter, decision type, and year. The site also includes videos and will feature guest postings from women's rights advocates. The goal of project is to promote better understanding of the use of the Optional Protocol for protecting and promoting women’s human rights.
