New Resource: Advocacy Organization Releases Toolkit to Help End Child and Forced Marriage
Tuesday, March 3, 2015 12:00 PM

The organization Girls Not Brides has published a toolkit to assist advocates working to end child, early and forced marriage around the world. The toolkit was developed to complement the United Nation's post-2015 development framework, which is intended to reduce global poverty and promote sustainable development. Girls Not Brides argues that a target to end child, early and forced marriage should be a top priority for the UN and national governments as they implement the new framework. The toolkit provides advocates with an "overview of the post-2015 process and the opportunities for action, a guide to create and implement your own national advocacy plan, and template worksheets" to assist in tailoring the approach for individual communities and countries.
