The anti-trafficking organization Polaris has released a new report on the “realities” of sex trafficking in the United States and how it affects U.S. citizens. The report, “Trafficking in the U.S.: A Closer Look at U.S. Citizen Victims,” uses data from 1,611 sex trafficking cases to illustrate how and where victims are recruited and exploited by traffickers in the U.S. The report also explores resources available to assist survivors of sex trafficking.
