Nepal Passes Anti-Trafficking Bill

On 18 July 2007, the Nepali Parliament unanimously passed a law against human trafficking. The Human Trafficking (Control) Bill 2064 BS is meant to protect Nepali women and children and places the responsibility of preventing trafficking on the government.
