COVID-19 Domestic Violence Country Updates: Argentina

As stay at home orders have been put in place in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the number of domestic violence cases has risen worldwide. Advocates in countries across the globe have seen a wide range of consequences and are responding to the crisis in different ways. In Argentina, for example, domestic violence hotlines have received increasing numbers of reports of domestic violence and experienced a heightened demand for emergency shelters. In response, Argentina has declared pharmacies safe places for reporting domestic violence.
