International Women's Day: The Advocates Present on Women Taking Action Against Trafficking

Tuesday, March 8, is International Women’s Day, first celebrated in 1911. To honor the day, the Advocates for Human Rights will participate in a panel discussion at Hamline University in St. Paul about how to promote and protect the human rights of sex trafficking victims. The event will be held from 6-8pm in the Bush Center Ballroom at Hamline University. 

The event is free and open to the public. Sponsored by The Advocates for Human Rights, Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet & Consociates Justice Commission, the United Nations Association of MN, the Wesley Center, and Hamline University.
