Občan, demokracia a zodpovednosť (Citizen, Democracy and Accountability), in collaboration with Ženské kruhy (Women’s Circles), has released a 2021 report: CHILDBIRTH – RIGHTS – PANDEMIC: Monitoring Report on Violations of the Human Rights of Women in the Provision of Childbirth Care in Healthcare Facilities in Slovakia During the COVID-19 Pandemic. The report details the outcomes of CDA’s human rights monitoring on violations of human rights of pregnant and birthing women and their newborns in healthcare facilities during the first wave of the COVID-19 pandemic (March – June 2020) in Slovakia.
