UN Women has announced the release of a series of policy documents that highlight promising measures to advance women’s human rights and equal access to education, social services and economic opportunities. The first briefs in the series address four key areas from UN Women’s “Progress of the World’s Women 2015–2016: Transforming economies, realizing rights.”

According to UN Women, the “policy brief series synthesizes research findings, analysis and policy recommendations on gender equality and women’s rights in an accessible format. The series aims to bridge the research and policy divide by identifying areas that require urgent policy attention and propose a set of suitable measures to address them.”
