A What's News article dated 22 February 2012 stated that a domestic violence bill had passed both the Senate (Upper House) and the National Assembly (Lower House) of Parliament in Pakistan, In fact, the bill has not passed both legislative bodies. Two different domestic violence bills have been proposed, each of which has passed in one body, but neither bill has passed in both.
We sincerely regret the error.
