The latest report by the Delegation of the Spanish Government Against Gender-Based Violence in Spain has found that 63.7% of female-identifying teenagers are unaware they are victims of gender-based violence. Once they realize they are experiencing violence, 70.3% decide not to report the crime. The report signals the importance for schools and teachers to educate on gender-based violence from an early age to counter these figures.
