Since Oct. 31, Gloucestershire Police officers have been receiving training on how to better help victims of domestic abuse through a course delivered by the UK charity SafeLives. The training is meant to help officers spot patterns of domestic abuse, learn how to better understand perpetrators and their tactics, and anticipate the needs of victims. The course also covers working with victims who are older or male.
